Behind The Curtain: An Anonymous Session
Every day is a party at Julie Boudoir, but Miss. Anonymous really brought her A game for her session today. Miss. A came into our studio as a ball of nerves. The anxiety flew out the window once we started chatting. She said, “The most surprising thing was how quickly I became comfortable.” We had such an amazing time, there was not a second we weren’t laughing! Here’s what our babe had to say about her experience:

“I turned 45 this year, my youngest turns 21. My oldest just got engaged. I felt like I needed to do something for me! Something to help my confidence. I had always admired the women in boudoir pictures and finally said f*** it! That would be me!

I chose Julie Boudoir because I asked for recommendations on the advice Facebook page. I wanted a good plus-size boudoir photographer. I received several recommendations, I searched each one’s portfolio. Julie had the most size inclusive pictures. I followed her in her private group for a month or so. I watched a few lives and decided she was bueno! I was trusting to do this!

Her biggest concern
My biggest concern leading up to my boudoir shoot was my body. My weight, shape, everything. Being THAT exposed with a stranger. I finally let go of the concerns during hair and makeup, you ladies are absolutely amazing!
At first, it was nerve-wracking, very intimidating. After a few poses and coaching, everything was great! I felt very prepared. All of the information leading up to this was so helpful. The session was very different than what I expected. It was SO much better. You ladies are very empowering. I started to feel that I actually looked good!

Do it NOW! It is the best experience I have had for myself. I would highly recommend! I am a firm believer in, “Everything happens for a reason.” I was feeling like I don’t matter, that I was invisible. After spending time with you ladies, f*** that! I matter!”
