Boudoir is for Everybody

Boudoir photography is a beautiful and empowering form of art that celebrates the beauty and sensuality of the human body. However, it's important to recognize that not everyone feels represented in mainstream boudoir photography. Traditionally, boudoir photography has focused on the shapely defined, thin, and conventionally attractive bodies, leaving out many individuals who don't fit into these narrow beauty standards.

As your boudoir photographer, it's so fucking important to me to embrace empowerment and inclusivity in my work. Here are some ways we do so:

We have a welcoming and inclusive studio environment

The studio is 1500 square feet in size, welcoming and warm. It is nestled in a private location on five acres in a world of intimacy and tranquility, with a private driveway and scenic landscape. It’s a sanctuary where clients can indulge in an atmoshpere of intimacy and self -beauty.

Offering a diverse range of posing and styling options

One of the things I pride myself on is offering a vast range of posing and styling options that ignites a creativity to work with all body-shapes and sizes. My client lingerie closet is size-inclusive, and ranges in 6X- XS.  I have also have worked with over a thousand women during the course of 18 years, meaning I know how to, pose, manipulate artistic lighting and flatter all different body types.

Portfolio of different body types and identities

My portfolio is extreme, and full of clients of different body types and identities. No one is ever turned away (unless, of course, you have an issue with inclusivity).  I pride myself on my ability to not only provide a safe and warm environment, but I am committed to inclusivity.  With that said, you may say, “JULIE, why don’t I see…. In your portfolio?” Well, let me tell you why. Because while I’m committed to displaying - and working with - ALL different types of woman; one of the most important aspects of my studio is respecting privacy. Every single client you see on my website and socials has signed a specific privacy agreement, granting us that permission.  I may hold copyright, but you hold the full power of what I do and don’t do with your photos.

We operate in a judgment-free zone

I pride myself in understanding the importance of providing a judgment-free zone where you feel comfortable expressing yourself. I promise you, from the beginning, there is absolutely no "right" or "wrong" way to look or pose. Let go of your insecurities, and let me help you to embrace your body just as they are.

The true purpose of boudoir is to empower and uplift every single person who walks through my doors. As your photographer, it's incredibly important to me to embrace tour individuality and inclusivity in my work, and strive to provide a safe and empowering space for clients of all backgrounds and identities to celebrate their bodies, one session at a time.  Are you ready to lock in for your own boudoir session?
